SA Automotive Announces $16 Million Investment for Coahuila Plant

SA Automotive announced that it will invest 16
million dollars to install a plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila , where it will generate 500 direct
jobs.
SA
Automotive is an American company dedicated to the production of automotive
interiors . And among its main clients are
Tesla, Ford, GM, Stellantis, Nissan, Rivian, Lordstown, Lucid,
Volkswagen and TDM , among others.
The
general manager of SA Automotive ,
Ramiro Delgado Ramos, commented that the company has more than 30 years of
experience within the automotive industry, managing the design and development
process, including conceptualization, FEA analysis, technology development,
test validation, prototype and production tool development.
In
his message, Governor Miguel Riquelme thanked the teamwork of the mayor of
Ramos Arizpe, José María Morales, in addition, for the conjunction of efforts
to be able to carry out this type of investment, which speaks of the
relationship between the municipality and the State.
Miguel
Ángel Riquelme Solís, governor of the
state of Coahuila , thanked the
investors of SA Automotive for having
made the decision to stay in Coahuila.
“I
am sure that they found very good indicators in all aspects here in Coahuila;
one of the most difficult to find is security, since we are one of the safest
in the country; another is skilled labor, and another indicator is the rule of
law, which has extraordinary dimensions, ”he mentioned.
44 INVESTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS IN COAHUILA SO FAR IN 2023
The
state president reported that in the first six months of 2023, 43 new
investment projects have been
announced in Coahuila , and that he will
close the semester with 44 announcements.
He
recalled that Coahuila is one of the states where the most internal combustion
cars are manufactured , and that at the same time electric cars will begin to
be assembled, which will double the production of assembly plants.
In
the first five months of the year, more than 29,300 jobs have been created in
Coahuila, and surely, he said, by the end of the first half of the year, more
than 30,000 new sources of work will be recorded in the state.
Present
during the investment announcement were Juan Antonio Pérez Velázquez, manager
of Planta SA Automotive; José Alberto Serrano Olvera, Business Development
Manager, and Víctor Mohamar Servín, General Director of DAVISA .
