As part of the National Index Convention, Lourdes Arana, Director of Corporate Services and Institutional Relations of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment, and Technology (COMCE), presented the details of the 31st Mexican Foreign Trade Congress, to be held from October 29 to 31 in the city of Querétaro.
Organized by COMCE, the event seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of the export sector, promote investment attraction, and foster collaboration between Mexican and international companies.
“This congress is designed for all organizations involved in foreign trade, from micro and small businesses to large corporations seeking financing, expansion, and innovation,” explained Arana.
An International and Multisectoral Congress
The 31st Mexican Foreign Trade Congress will bring together business representatives, authorities, international chambers, and multilateral organizations in an environment of collaboration and learning. Arana announced that this edition will feature delegations from Canada, the United States, Colombia, Peru, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Trinidad and Tobago, reinforcing its global scope.
“We have gone international; we want Mexican trade to connect with the world and for the world to see Mexico as a reliable strategic partner,” she stated.
The event will include keynote conferences, thematic panels, and specialized workshops led by experts in logistics, customs, artificial intelligence, marketplaces, and e-commerce.
“We want attendees to apply the knowledge and tools in their daily operations, regardless of their company’s size,” Arana added.
Made in Mexico B2B: Integrating SMEs into Major Value Chains
One of the main highlights of this edition will be the Made in Mexico B2B space, a platform that will connect small and medium-sized enterprises with large national and international corporations.
“We want SMEs to approach anchor companies, join their supply chains, and receive direct advice on how to export,” Arana explained.
Among the 20 participating companies are Nestlé, CEMEX, Uni-Trade, and Xignux, which will offer a full day of business meetings and personalized mentoring.
Arana emphasized that this initiative seeks to open collaboration opportunities in both products and services, strengthening the country’s productive ecosystem.
“It’s not only about generating sales, but about building long-term relationships that reinforce the national export base,” she added.
A Meeting that Connects Talent, Innovation, and Opportunities
The congress will also feature specialized sessions on investment, technological innovation, and sustainability, in addition to spaces for business networking.
“It’s an event with soul,” said Arana. “From the very first moment, you can feel an atmosphere of collaboration and service where alliances, synergies, and new projects emerge.”
The event will bring together secretaries of economic development, diplomatic representatives, binational chambers, and international organizations, all sharing the same purpose: to bring the best of Mexico to the world and the best of the world to Mexico.
Finally, Arana invited all interested companies to participate in the event.
“Everyone is welcome. You can register at www.congresocomce.org.mx, and for Mexico Industry readers, we have a special discount with the code PYME B2B,” she concluded.
Thus, the 31st Mexican Foreign Trade Congress is consolidated as a key meeting point for the promotion of innovation, training, and business internationalization. Under COMCE’s leadership, this forum reaffirms the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to build a stronger, more sustainable, and globally competitive foreign trade ecosystem.
