Fab Shop Metelmex inaugurates its plant in Coahuila

Fab Shop Metelmex inaugurated its plant in Frontera, Coahuila, in which they invested 15 million dollars and will be generating 485 direct jobs.
Grupo Metelmex is a company with 100% Mexican capital, and is an expert in the manufacture of Electroforged Grating , also known as Electrowelded Grating , due to market demands and the high standards demanded by customers, for this reason they have expanded the range of products to offer projects integral in the shortest time and with the highest quality.
These products and services are: Steps and Cut-to-Size Grating, Grating Benches, Architectural Grating, Railings, Stairs, Hot Dip Galvanizing Service, Steel Structure Manufacturing (Vessels, Tanks, Building Structures, and Heavy Pailería) , Logistics Service and Chemical Laboratory Service .
Miguel Zertuche, president of the Metelmex Group , stated that four of the five plants are located in this municipality, and one in Monclova; and that there is also a distribution center in Houston, Texas , with more than 900 collaborators.
For his part, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, governor of Coahuila, stated that he is proud and pleased that local companies continue to grow, work as a team to better develop the industry.
He explained that the Electric Car Cluster will be part of the development in each region of the entity in a gradual way, to the steel and metal mechanics, which continue to be a strength, adapting the educational programs so that the professionals they demand are generated.
He pointed out that Coahuila has stood out in competitiveness at the national level , becoming the third state in arrival of investments. He said that before the pandemic, nine trips were made to promote the entity abroad, and that now the reality is that a daily company is served that comes to try to invest, for the security, competitiveness and skilled labor that is offer in the region.
