Before the difficult economic situation that the industry is going through worldwide, it is important that companies design their strategies well so that the economic recovery is faster and they can reap the results. Many of them are betting heavily on investing in new projects and thus expanding their presence in a market as competitive as the automotive one.
Daimay Automotive Interior, a plant of Chinese origin and dedicated to the manufacture of auto parts, began the construction of a new plant in the FINSA Industrial Park, in Ramos Arizpe and has an area of 120,000 square meters.
The arrival of this factory occurred two years ago, when they bought the defunct Motus for an amount close to 150 million dollars, since then the Chinese supplier has established itself in the region as one of the most important, generating an important number of jobs in its first stage.
Without specifying the amount invested in said work, the company has found in the region the answer to all its requirements to be able to consolidate a plant in the state, such as quality labor and state policies on labor material to continue attracting significant investments, increasing economic development.
It should be noted that Coahuila is one of the states with the lowest rate of informal work, so the Asian company will have no problem finding the personnel it requires to manufacture its products, it is estimated that it can generate approximately 1,000 jobs.
This new investment proves the trust that is in Coahuila and motivates more companies to come to the entity, despite the current situation, and can start their projects.
Its products are exported mainly to the US market, as well as to Brazil, both countries account for 70% of the production volume, while the remaining 30% goes to Mexico.
Daimay Automotive Interior is a company founded in China more than 30 years ago; In July 2018, it settled in Ramos Arizpe and is in charge of manufacturing visors, headboards, armrests and ceiling consoles, to name a few products.
