ZF expands operations at Chassis Technology plant in Toluca

ZF  confirmed the construction of its new expansion of the Chassis Technology plant  located in Toluca, State of Mexico.

The objective of this expansion is to increase its presence in the country and increase capacity , in order to meet the growing needs of its customers.

The company mobility solutions provider company plans to begin construction of the manufacturing complex in the second quarter of 2022, and begin operations at the end of this year. 

At the plant, which currently employs 264 people , they will be manufacturing control arms, stabilizer bar links and tie rod ends , primarily for the North American market.

Dale Chon, Vice President, North America Region, for Automotive Chassis Technology, ZF Group , stated that the company continues to grow in Mexico, which is home to one of the largest populations of company employees anywhere. in the world, so they are proud to continue to meet the needs of their customers with this expansion.

"With world-class engineering, manufacturing and many other professional skills, the Toluca site is a valuable part of ZF's operations in North America and an important part of our success." 

ZF has approximately 25,000 employees at 17 locations , and Mexico is the company's second leading country in terms of employees. 

The automotive supplier is spread throughout the country in places such as Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, Empalme, Guadalajara, Juárez, Monterrey, Querétaro, Gómez Palacios, Mexico City, Puebla, Reynosa, Saltillo, San Luis Potosí, and Toluca.
