With this, the purpose is that the factory, which is located in the industrial zone of the aforementioned municipality, helps them increase their current production by 25% in order to meet the growing demand for their products.

In this sense, Fabio Pena, vice president of operations of the organization in Mexico, explained that this project was decided after a long analysis and after assessing all the competitive advantages that Coahuila offers.

"In 2022, our businesses represented income of 2,000 million dollars in Mexico thanks to the effort and dedication of the collaborators that make up the organization."

Likewise, the manager stressed that in this country they only have a presence in the Coahuila state, and that in the 11 years that he has been in charge of operations, he has been surprised by the quality of specialized engineers in the region.

For this reason, he added that the new expansion project will generate 250 new jobs and that they intend to make their processes more friendly to the environment.

“Among the first strategies that we will implement to achieve this, the fact that we will increase the recycling of batteries for our sustainability projects stands out.”

However, during the next two years Tupy  will invest the amount of 7,000 million dollars in Mexico , which will go towards its productivity, safety, environment and maintenance.

Lastly, the executive thanked the state authorities for their support to carry out their projects and said that they will surely continue to invest in the state because it is the best option that any company can choose.
