The commercial cargo at Nuevo Laredo Airport grows by 68.7%

The International Airport of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, reported a 68.7% growth in cargo volumes moved from January to November 2023, thus securing the top position nationally within the Airports and Auxiliary Services Network (ASA).
In these 11 months, the airport handled 27,003 kilograms of merchandise, surpassing the 16,011 kilograms reported during the same period in 2022. "In terms of air cargo moved within the ASA airport network, a total of four million 705,713 kilograms were counted, with the International Airport of Nuevo Laredo leading this growth to and from the network's airports," stated the ASA network in an official release.
Leading the Charts
The performance of this airport extends beyond cargo, as it has consistently topped the charts for operations, passenger services, and commerce throughout the country in 2023.
For instance, in air operations, there was a growth of 20.4% between January and November, increasing from 2,313 to 2,786 records.
Enhanced Connectivity
In passenger services, there was a remarkable surge of 91.4%, with a report of 179,726 users, compared to the 93,899 individuals who utilized the airport in 2022. "The commitment to consolidating more and better services for increased air connectivity, new flights, and frequency enhancements remains steadfast," concluded the ASA network.
