Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas , along with Rio South Texas , make up a prosperous region for attracting new investment and positioning of industries, having international communication routes, such as bridges, highways, airports, maritime terminals, as well as labor Qualified, experienced and constantly innovating.
“The message for investors is that they come to this region, that it is just at the right time. There are many opportunities for the logistics sector and all industries," said Joaquín Spamer, founder and president of the CIL group.
After participating as a speaker at the first International Economic Summit in McAllen, Texas, where he spoke about the opportunities, challenges and investment success stories in the United States, the main message was based on the prosperous outlook for placing companies.
Spamer, also president of the Border Trade Alliance (BTA), emphasized that around 100 billion dollars are invested in the state of Texas to modernize, extend and adapt highway infrastructure to the needs of industries in the face of nearshoring .
Between Nuevo León and Texas is the Colombia-Solidaridad International Bridge with great capacity for cargo transport, and in Tamaulipas and Texas the main land port for the commercial relationship of Mexico with the United States is consolidated, through the International Bridge of World Trade .
In the specific case of Rio South Texas, there are other bridges that stand out for the crossing of cargo units and that are also expanding, such as the Pharr-Reynosa and Anzaldúas International Bridge , as well as the Donna-Rio Bravo International Bridge.
“This is the center of economic development that will have the most benefit from nearshoring , it is made up of the northeastern states of Mexico, the cities of the south and all of Texas. Entrepreneurs must contribute to attracting projects, promoting from our sectors all the competitive advantages”, he concluded.
