PACCAR Mexico will invest $50 million in the Mexicali plant

Preston Feight, Global CEO of PACCAR, announced a $50 million investment project in the Mexicali production plant, of which he has been a part since 1959.
The investment will be allocated to various areas, including a new space dedicated to testing various types of units produced in these facilities, including diesel, natural gas, and electric engines.
Additionally, the investment includes the creation of a second floor for offices, adding 200 spaces for administrative workers. Finally, it encompasses the expansion and remodeling of the cafeteria and dining area, benefiting the organization's over 3,500 employees in Mexicali.
Primary Trade Partner:
In the context of PACCAR's investment announcement, Consul Tom Reott highlighted the importance of the automotive sector and Mexico's crucial role as the United States' primary trade partner, with over 70% of trade being transported by trucks.
Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olvera emphasized PACCAR México as the country's first manufacturer of electric cargo vehicles and the significance of Cachanilla talent in achieving this milestone and continuing to contribute to the region's development.
Lastly, Preston Feight, PACCAR CEO, pointed out that the PACCAR México team has been an integral part of the success and continuous growth of PACCAR globally.
