Onest Logistics invests in a new logistics center in Tepoztlán, will create 800 jobs

Confidence of the logistics sector in Edoméx

The State of Mexico  continues to position itself as one of the main recipient entities of foreign investment. Despite the complex international economic panorama, the  logistics sector in the entity has been able to reestablish important supply chains, this is the result of the different opportunities and development offered by Edoméx, such as the expansion of the state highway network, the strengthening of the industrial infrastructure , its geographical location, as well as its connectivity with the most important airport network in the country.

The  logistics sector contributes more than 4% of the added value in the entity, which represents 54% of the investment projects announced during the administration, and it is estimated that it has generated 34% of the jobs created since August 2020 to the date in the State of Mexico.

Continuing the leadership of the Mexican region,  Onest Logistics , announced a new investment project that will be carried out in the municipality of Tepotzotlán, which will generate 800 jobs, an action that reaffirms the confidence that the logistics sector has in Edoméx.

The project will begin operations at the end of this year, expanding the coverage of logistics services offered by this company in the center of the country.

“Onest Logistics, a 100% Mexican company and leader in the sector, will make a significant investment in Edoméx to start operating what will be its new Distribution Center in Tepotzotlán. Today we met with its directors”, commented Alfredo Del Mazo, governor of the State of Mexico.

In this regard, the state president said that the investment that  Onest Logistics  will make will revitalize the industrial offer in the northern part of the Valley of Mexico, and will strategically strengthen its operations both in the State of Mexico and nationally.

Likewise, he indicated that said company has taken advantage of the advantages offered by the Mexican entity in logistics, since it has installed 16 of its 23 operational centers in the State of Mexico, which strengthens the quality of its attention, the flexibility of its services and the integration of solutions in favor of its clients.

In addition to this, the president pointed out that the presence and new investments carried out by Onest Logistics  endorse the strengths of the state economy, send a signal of confidence to investors and confirm the attractiveness of Edoméx for modern companies, committed to growth , development and job creation.
