Mission EDC reinforces dialogue with congressmen

With the objective of promoting the economic development of the city of Mission , Texas, through the management of resources, and approach to legislators and government representatives, the Economic Development Corporation of Mission (Mission EDC) participated in various meetings and gatherings during the RGV2DC in Washington DC
By maintaining a close relationship and dialogue with congressmen, there are favorable growth scenarios for the entire region, highlighted Teclo García, CEO of Mission EDC , recognizing the importance of trade organizations, municipalities, counties and other entities having a voice in decisions that affect the whole country.
The defense of benefits for Rio South Texas is a priority for organizations such as the Rio Grande Valley Partnership (RGV Partnership) and The Border Trade Alliance (BTA), who organized the meetings and gatherings of this 2023.
Other aspects that were addressed focus on the development of the labor force, improvements in infrastructure and education.
To provide new opportunities to businesses and industries, communication with legislators will be permanent.
