McAllen EDC holds meeting with Denso Ten, leadership team in Japan, the United States and Mexico

Among the activities carried out by the Economic Development Corporation of McAllen, Texas (McAllen EDC, for its acronym in English), meetings where the growth of talent and opportunities in the region are promoted, for which one of the most recent meetings took place among the leadership team of the manufacturing company Denso Ten in Japan, the United States and Mexico.

Qualified labor, leadership and high productivity rates in the industry were the issues that stood out, as well as the training offered by South Texas College for the generation of new professionals with skills and potential, as well as the talents that they have graduated from universities such as Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). 

Rio South Texas and the border with Mexico are viewed as part of the same business region, where talent is key to driving growth and economic development .

To further these objectives, McAllen EDC maintains a program focused on Business and Retention, which contributes to fostering prosperous business relationships. 

The mayor of McAllen Javier Villalobos also participated in the meeting with Tenso Ten, who together with the McAllen EDC team highlighted the presence of the manufacturing company since 1996 in the city.
