Kyungshin inaugurates three plants in Durango, generating 2,000 job opportunities

Kyungshin has officially launched its three state-of-the-art plants in Gómez Palacio, Durango, with a significant investment of 45 million dollars, aiming to generate up to 2,200 jobs in the region. Originally from South Korea, Kyungshin is dedicated to manufacturing battery modules for electric cars, electronic cards, and harnesses, offering technical and professional development prospects for young talents in mechatronics and electronics.

Charls Kim, President of Kyungshin, expressed sincere appreciation for the support received over the 14 years of the company's presence in the region. Government collaboration has played a crucial role in establishing and expanding the business, particularly in facilitating the opening of the new plants in Gómez Palacio.

Economic and Industrial Growth in the Comarca Lagunera

Governor Esteban Villegas Villarreal highlighted that Kyungshin's arrival represents a tremendous opportunity for economic growth and the development of the Comarca Lagunera. The production of electronic components will open up new markets for local suppliers and enhance the flow of resources into the region's economy.
