Kavak invests 215 million pesos in Puebla to strengthen the automotive sector

Kavak , the digital platform for buying and selling pre-owned cars and the first unicorn startup in the history of Mexico, reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the Puebla automotive sector, through the start of its operations in the city of Puebla.

Kavak's arrival in Puebla represents an initial investment of more than 215 million pesos in the state , with the capacity to store and process more than 4,000 vehicles per month, which will represent a guarantee of employment for more than 200 Puebla families. 

Through Kavak's technological platform, people from Puebla will be able to sell or acquire the vehicle of their choice with the guarantees of transparency, security and financing from their computer or cell phone, in addition to accessing a centralized search engine with all types of vehicles, to which more competitive prices, thanks to an algorithm that compares market trends, auctions and classifieds. 

“The pre-owned vehicle buying and selling sector in Puebla is the fourth most important in Mexico, with an approximate value of 2 billion dollars a year, so the arrival of Kavak offers certainty to the people of Puebla when selling and / or buying. a pre-owned vehicle without fear of being scammed, in a market that accounts for an average of 300 thousand transactions a year, of which 80% occur between individuals, ”said Federico Ranero, Kavak's director of operations.

Kavak currently has more than 5,000 car options, and during the next 12 months it will add more than 20,000 vehicles of various brands and price ranges to its catalog, to offer residents of Monterrey an extensive portfolio of options that allow them to acquire the vehicle of your choice, and receive it directly at your home or go to pick it up at a branch, equipped with the most rigorous health controls.
