Honeywell, a leading technology and innovation company, is committed to promoting inclusion and diversity in workplaces across Mexico.

To achieve this, the company has signed a collaboration agreement with the Integral Family Development System (DIF) of the Municipality of San Luis Potosí. Under this agreement, Honeywell employees will receive training focused on sign language learning, awareness of inclusion and diversity, and the enhancement of emotional well-being and mental health in the workplace.

This includes a Mexican Sign Language workshop, a course for leaders, recruitment teams, and employees on hiring and integrating individuals with disabilities, as well as a sensitization workshop on the autism spectrum and the deaf community.

In Mexico, the labor force participation rate for people with disabilities is 38%. During the agreement signing, representatives from both institutions emphasized the importance of creating working conditions that promote equity and accessibility, as well as the need to increase employment opportunities through targeted actions.

“At Honeywell, we believe diversity strengthens our culture and drives innovation. With this agreement, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a work environment where everyone feels valued and supported,” said Arturo Campos, Vice President of Human Resources at Honeywell Latin America.
