HL Klemove confirms construction of a new plant in Coahuila; will be supplier of Hyundai and Kia

With an investment of 65 million dollars and the generation of more than 500 new jobs , HL Klemove confirmed that it will build a new plant in Arteaga, Coahuila .
The operations of this corporation in Mexico will support its largest customers: Hyundai Motors and Kia , which are located in North America.
In his speech, the president of the HL Klemove company, Yoo Ho Kim, explained that the specialty is personalized autonomous driving and mobility , and this new manufacturing complex is scheduled for July 2023; so they will be manufacturing electrical car parts, front camera, radar and DCU chassis for these auto companies as well as OMD .
He stressed that the choice of Coahuila is due to its strategic position, and will be the impetus to become a key partner for North America as a supplier of autonomous parts and solutions.
For his part, the Governor of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, assured that Korea is the fourth country with the highest amounts of investment in the entity, in addition to the fact that 14 new projects have been announced in this period with an investment of 213 million dollars.
Likewise, he highlighted that Coahuila has an annual production of 1.2 million engines , as well as its importance in the export of auto parts.
The event was attended by the local deputy, Edna Ileana Dávalos Elizondo; the State Secretary of Economy, Claudio Bres Garza; HL Klemove Finance Director Taehwam Ahn and HL Klemove Plant General Manager Hyunsoo Kim.
