Guanajuato highlights availability of industrial infrastructure

With a strategic vision for economic development, the state of Guanajuato currently boasts 47 industrial parks spread across 17 municipalities, collectively covering more than 7,100 hectares. Of this total area, approximately 3,650 hectares remain available for the establishment of new businesses and productive projects.
In an official statement, the state government emphasized the availability of strategic land both within and outside the main industrial corridor, aiming to diversify and balance the state’s economy. The industrial parks are located in the municipalities of Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Guanajuato, Irapuato, León, San Francisco del Rincón, San José Iturbide, San Felipe, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Salamanca, Silao, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago, and Villagrán.
“The Governor of the State, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, is driving the development and consolidation of economic infrastructure to attract both national and foreign investment, in coordination with the private sector,” the statement reads.
It is worth noting that the state government highlights that Guanajuato’s industrial parks are designed to comply with federal, state, and municipal standards, ensuring proper functionality, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
Additionally, the statement emphasizes that the industrial parks in the state are equipped with comprehensive infrastructure and essential services such as potable water, electricity, drainage systems, wastewater treatment, communication services, paved road access, public lighting, and other key amenities.
