In mid-July, FORUM CRE leaders engaged with international companies during the Mexico Technological Cooperation Seminar, held at the China Resources Building in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District. FORUM CRE President Carlo Molano and Mexico Director Carlos Montoya presented Mexico’s competitive advantages for nearshoring, highlighting strategic logistics hubs such as Nuevo Laredo, which manages 40% of Mexico’s cross-border freight annually. They also emphasized the benefits of efficient customs processes, skilled labor, and modern industrial infrastructure.

As part of its international business development agenda, FORUM CRE’s industrial team visited Medline Industries’ Asian headquarters in Shanghai. The meeting focused on exploring relocation and expansion options in Mexico for the medical products manufacturer, aligning with broader trends in supply chain optimization and regionalization.
