Endurance Motive announces major investment in Puebla for Lithium battery assembly

The transition to electromobility in Mexico, along
with record-breaking figures in vehicle production and exports, continues to
attract Foreign Direct Investment to the country.
Sergio Salomón, Governor of Puebla, has confirmed
the establishment of Mexico's first lithium battery assembly plant for micro
electromobility.
This project is spearheaded by the Spanish company
Endurance Motive, which specializes in the manufacturing of lithium batteries
for electromobility in industrial, marine, and urban mobility sectors. They
operate in three segments: Industrial Traction (Forklifts), Naval and
Recreational Boats, and Urban Electromobility.
During the meeting, Governor Salomón emphasized
that this investment demonstrates his administration's commitment to promoting
public policies that provide the best conditions for investments in the state.
He also highlighted the tangible results of initiatives supporting electromobility.
Present at the meeting were the Secretary of
Economy, Olivia Salomón; the Acting Head of the Puebla State Energy Agency,
Ermilo Barrera Novelo, as well as company executives.
