Coahuila's Golden Industrial Park Launches Second Phase Construction

The city of Torreón, Coahuila, has witnessed the
commencement of construction for the second phase of the Golden Industrial
Park, located in the Mieleras area to the east of the city.
Claudio Meléndez, the director of this industrial
park, has announced that this expansion will cover an additional 22 hectares,
adding to the existing 25 hectares in the first phase. The combined investment
for this project amounts to 750 million pesos.
This industrial project will include the
installation of essential services for companies establishing themselves in the
park, such as medium-voltage electrical power and natural gas supply.
Additionally, a perimeter fence spanning 2.5 kilometers will be constructed to
ensure the security of the entire facility.
The Governor of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme
Solís, shares Claudio Meléndez's optimistic vision and highlights that, before
his term concludes, three additional industrial parks will be launched in the
state. He emphasizes Coahuila's success in leveraging Nearshoring opportunities
and underscores that the state stands out for its positive and robust
indicators in security, competitiveness, rule of law, and certainty.
With the expansion of the Golden Industrial Park
and the commitment of local and state authorities to continue attracting
investments, Torreón and Coahuila demonstrate their determination to establish
themselves as leaders in the industrial sector, creating employment
opportunities and fostering economic development in the region.
