Ariston Group to Invest MXN 157 Million in Saltillo to Manufacture Water Heaters

With the arrival of Ariston Group, an Italian company specializing in thermal solutions, Coahuila has reached MXN 150 billion in domestic and foreign investment during the current administration, Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas announced.

Industrial Expansion in Saltillo

The MXN 157 million investment will fund the construction of a plant dedicated to producing and distributing gas and electric water heaters, with plans to supply the United States and Canadian markets. The project will create over 120 formal jobs, with construction scheduled to begin in October 2025 and operations expected to start in early 2026.

The governor highlighted the state’s competitive advantages, including security, labor peace, infrastructure, and a highly skilled workforce. “In Coahuila, we are facilitators, creating the best conditions for companies to operate successfully,” he stated.

Business Confidence and Competitive Advantages

According to Luis Olivares Martínez, Coahuila’s Secretary of Economy, Ariston Group’s decision confirms the international business sector’s confidence in the state. He emphasized that the rule of law, public safety, and robust infrastructure have been key factors in attracting investment.

Rodrigo Basañez, CEO of Ariston Group Mexico, explained that the choice to establish operations in Saltillo reflects the company’s confidence in the local workforce and the region’s advantages. Saltillo Mayor Javier Díaz González described the city as “the safest and most competitive in Mexico,” offering an ideal environment for business development.

Governor Jiménez also noted that coordination between the Army, National Guard, Navy, public prosecutors, and local authorities strengthens security across all regions of the state, fostering investment. He added that the state has completed its judicial reform process to ensure the rule of law for citizens and investors alike.
