Directors of the Alpura  company presented, during a meeting with the Governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo Del Mazo, two investment projects for the entity that will allow the creation of new jobs and continue to consolidate the state territory among investment destinations.

The general director of Alpura, François Bouyra Lacombe, reported the scope of the two projects that the company develops in Mexico, which will generate more than 1,500 jobs and will have an investment of more than 1,500 million pesos.

These projects are the La Torre Cuautitlán plant, in Cuautitlán Izcalli, with an investment of 650 million pesos , and a modern Macrocedis (Macro Distribution Center), in Tepotzotlán, in which more than 860 million pesos were invested.

In the "Guadalupe Victoria" Room of the Palace of the Executive Power, it was explained that the opening of the La Torre Cuautitlán Plant, where five silos were built, with a capacity to store 150,000 liters each, will speed up processes and increase productivity. These facilities will have the capacity to package 24,000 products per hour, such as yogurt to drink, among others.

While the Macrocedis of Tepotzotlán is dedicated to serving customers in the cold chain, and will be in charge of guaranteeing the storage, distribution and quality of the products; As part of its commitment to sustainability, its facilities use environmentally friendly technology, saving water consumption.

Both projects, by their nature, could become leading centers in the generation of innovation and technology, promoting the use of Industry 4.0. It is worth mentioning that the State of Mexico ranks second at the national level with the most economic units dedicated to the production of dairy products; 10% of the more than 16,000 units of this type are located in the Mexican state.
