Aguascalientes is expanding its industrial infrastructure with the launch of construction for Santa Fe Tecnopark II, an industrial park that will receive a 600-million-pesos investment.
This state-of-the-art industrial complex, located in the municipality of San Francisco de los Romo, will cover 25 hectares and will accommodate national and international companies in sectors such as automotive, home appliances, food, transportation, and logistics, among others, explained Jorge Alberto Sandoval Romo, Chairman of the Board of Santa Fe Tecnopark.
He added that beyond industrial expansion, the project symbolizes confidence in Aguascalientes' growth.
"We are not just building infrastructure; we are laying the foundation for development and well-being for the community," he stated.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Esaú Garza de Vega, State Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology, emphasized that strengthening industrial infrastructure further positions Aguascalientes as an ideal investment destination.
"This new industrial park not only drives the development of our municipalities but also serves as clear proof of investors' confidence in Aguascalientes, thanks to its competitive advantages such as security, legal certainty, a highly skilled workforce, and robust infrastructure," he concluded.
Aguascalientes Governor Tere Jiménez acknowledged that, despite facing significant challenges, the state continues to work closely with the business sector to strengthen economic growth and development.
"Thank you for believing in Aguascalientes. Every day, new investments arrive in our state, and this infrastructure will allow us to welcome companies from around the world that continue to bet on this region,"she stated.
