Shacman México (Sparta Motors) announced a partnership with Sesé to establish a truck assembly plant in Puebla, as presented during Expo Transporte 2025. The facility will begin with the production of 1,000 Shacman units and is projected to reach 4,000 trucks by its third year of operations, strengthening the brand’s presence in the commercial vehicle market in Mexico and Latin America.
New Assembly Plant in Puebla
The new plant in Puebla will focus on the SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) assembly of Shacman trucks to serve demand in Mexico and Latin America. This industrial project increases local manufacturing content, strengthens the supply chain for the heavy-vehicle sector, and creates specialized employment opportunities in the region.
According to Carlos Pardo, President and CEO of Shacman México, the alliance with Sesé will make it possible to leverage the company’s experience in logistics and assembly to achieve high quality standards in every unit. Sparta Motors—the main distributor of the brand in Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Spain—operates 9 dealerships and 19 full distributors in the country, positioning Shacman among the top five commercial vehicle brands in national sales.
Trucks, After-Sales Service, and Communication Strategy 2026
At Expo Transporte 2025, Shacman is showcasing the X6000 and X5000 tractors equipped with the Z14 engine, which delivers 1,955 lb-ft of torque at 1,000 rpm. This configuration offers strong performance for heavy-load applications and reinforces the brand’s value proposition for long-haul fleets in the Mexican market.
The company is also presenting the L5000 and H3000 models, specifically designed for the Mexican freight transportation market. The L5000 features a Cummins D6 engine with 290 HP, a wide turning radius, and enhanced visibility—attributes that make it competitive for urban and distribution routes. The H3000 integrates a Cummins L9 engine with 340 HP and 8.9 liters, along with a configurable chassis tailored to each customer’s operational needs.
To support customer operations, Shacman México is introducing a comprehensive after-sales platform that integrates repair traceability, online training, roadside rescue support, control tower, performance monitoring, technical support, and telematics. This technological infrastructure enables faster service, greater unit availability, and precise fleet management through mobile devices.
The 2026 communication strategy is built around the mantra “Committed to Your Destination,” which reflects Shacman’s vision as a strategic partner for its customers. The proposal is based on three pillars: unconditional support through tailored solutions, the quality and reliability of its trucks to meet transportation objectives without setbacks, and continuous innovation through investment in technology and improvements in products and services.
Shacman, a manufacturer and marketer of commercial vehicles, maintains a consistent focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of its transportation solutions. Sparta Motors, founded in 2019, supports this strategy with a strong sales and service network, while Sesé contributes its logistics and assembly expertise to enhance the competitiveness of the new Puebla plant within Mexico’s automotive ecosystem.
