San Luis Potosí continues to consolidate its position as one of Mexico’s most dynamic industrial hubs with the inauguration of the World Trade Center Industrial Park III (WTC III), a new development that expands the state’s logistics and manufacturing infrastructure.
The project represents the next phase in the evolution of the World Trade Center industrial ecosystem in the region, integrating a third platform designed to support growing demand driven by nearshoring and supply chain reconfiguration.
A strategic expansion of an established industrial ecosystem
WTC III builds upon the success of the existing WTC industrial parks, which have already positioned themselves as integrated platforms combining industrial, logistics, and commercial components. This model has been key to attracting global companies seeking operational efficiency and connectivity.
The new park introduces a logistics-oriented profile, reinforcing San Luis Potosí’s role as a central node within Mexico’s industrial corridor. According to project materials, WTC III is conceived as a premium logistics park, aligned with the needs of companies requiring proximity to transport infrastructure and distribution networks.
Location and connectivity at the core of its value proposition
One of the defining attributes of WTC III is its strategic location. The development is positioned along the San Luis Potosí–Tampico highway, with direct access to key industrial zones such as Villa de Pozos and Ciudad Satélite, enabling efficient connectivity to both domestic and international markets.
This positioning enhances multimodal logistics capabilities, linking manufacturing operations with distribution channels and export routes. The integration with existing infrastructure reinforces the region’s competitiveness for companies operating under just-in-time and nearshoring models.
Industrial scale designed for growth
WTC III spans approximately 93 hectares, offering land for sale and build-to-suit developments tailored to the needs of industrial and logistics operations.
The park is designed to accommodate a mix of industrial users, including logistics operators and companies requiring customized facilities, supported by infrastructure that enables scalable operations.
Its development responds to increasing demand for industrial space in San Luis Potosí, particularly from companies seeking to optimize supply chains and establish operations closer to North American markets.
Strengthening San Luis Potosí’s industrial momentum
The inauguration of WTC III reflects a broader trend of industrial expansion in San Luis Potosí, where infrastructure development continues to align with investment attraction strategies.
By expanding its industrial footprint with logistics-focused platforms, the state is reinforcing its value proposition as a destination capable of supporting both advanced manufacturing and distribution operations within an integrated ecosystem.
WTC III not only increases available industrial capacity but also strengthens the connectivity and operational efficiency required by global companies, positioning San Luis Potosí to capture further investment in an increasingly competitive nearshoring landscape.
