April 24, 2026
Automotive company Brose announced a 209 million pesos investment in Querétaro as part of its expansion strategy in the state. The project, presented during Hannover Messe 2026, includes the creation of 79 jobs and the strengthening of its operational capabilities in the region.
Industrial expansion reinforces Brose’s presence in Querétaro
The investment is focused on expanding the administrative area linked to the production of door modules and drive mechanisms, key segments within the automotive value chain. With this decision, the company consolidates its presence in the state, where it already operates three plants.
One in every three vehicles worldwide integrates Brose technology, positioning the company as a relevant player in the global automotive industry. Its expansion in Querétaro responds to the need to optimize internal processes and strengthen its ability to respond to international demand.
Investment strengthens the automotive ecosystem in the Bajío region
The new facility at Benito Juárez Industrial Park will contribute to strengthening the state’s industrial ecosystem, particularly in the automotive sector, one of the region’s economic pillars. Projects of this type drive competitiveness and encourage the attraction of new investment.
During the announcement, state authorities highlighted the company’s confidence in the local environment. “Brose is a company that has trusted Querétaro for many years. We have three plants here, and they are increasing their administrative capabilities,” they stated, while reaffirming their commitment to continue supporting its growth.
The meeting also included company executives, who discussed medium-term development opportunities and the consolidation of operations in Mexico. The presence of global executives reinforces the company’s strategic interest in the region.
