WTC celebrated the opening of their venue in Queretaro with a millionaire investment

With an investment of more than 800 million pesos the American company, World Trade Center arrived to settle in the Bajio region, its new location in Queretaro joins the 330 locations the firm already has around the world.

In virtue of the Bajio region and, particularly the state of Queretaro, have consolidated as one of the most competitive regions in the country, the additional venue in Mexico of the World Trade Center (WTC) concept will take place in this location capital.

During his speech, Carlos Uribe Menendez, COO WTC Queretaro, said that the arrival of the brand to Queretaro responds to the outstanding economic dynamism of the region, where sectors such as aeronautics and automotive have taken wide importance.

“Choosing Queretaro as additional venue in Mexico of WTC concept obeys to the positive context for business offered by the entity, for its safety levels, as well as for the qualified workforce and value chains settled in different strategic sectors,” he assured.

Concerning this he remembered that according to the State Competitiveness Index 2018, elaborated by the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO, by its Spanish initials) Queretaro is the second entity in the country with the best business environment, derived from an average performance above the one observed in the remaining States in terms of innovation, political system, inclusion, education and health.

It is worth mentioning that the WTC representation office settling in Queretaro will be opening commerce and investment opportunities for companies in the region.

Carlos Uribe Menendez added that the objective of WTC Queretaro is constituting as the business center of the most competitive area of the country, with which the entity will be joining the 330 cities in 90 countries that already have a WTC and where about 750 thousand businessmen participate from around the world.

Finally, COO of WTC Queretaro, announced that the State was chosen as venue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of WTC, achieving gathering representatives and customers of the firm worldwide, it is anticipated to have a favorable economic revenue for the entity. 

Such event had the attendance of important personalities from the business environment of the area, as well as state, municipal authorities and firm directives.

The real estate complex was conceived in 2009 when a group of businessmen bought the WTC license which includes 35 thousand square meters and will be composed by four towers in total, which will have recreational areas, restaurants, gym, offices, doctor’s offices, among other spaces.

 The World Trade Center concept was conceived in Queens, New York, in 1938 but was formally founded until 1969, with the objective of being instituted as the “international ecosystem of global connections” to promote commerce and investment among companies from different areas of the world.
