Tijuana was placed nationally as one of the most dynamic industrial markets during 2020 and, proof of this, is the building of the Alamar Campus Tijuana Industrial Park.

According to Raúl Arroyo, executive director of  Real Estate Management and Services Group (RMSG) , Tijuana is a great market for the company, which they have known for 20 years.

"We see that each project we want to develop becomes a success, since the city offers many benefits," he said.

The manager reported that RMSG invested 60 million dollars in the Alamar Campus Tijuana Industrial Park, whose work began in mid-2019 and that today already has highly relevant tenants.

It is an area of ​​110,000 square meters, he pointed out, and the surprise of this industrial park is that it was rented in a period of between nine and 12 months, to which industries such as medical, textile and e-commerce have arrived.

"This helps a lot because companies continue to trust Tijuana as a development pole because of the workforce, the infrastructure, and at the end of the day it speaks well of the city," said the executive director of RMSG.

He added that this industrial park, although not extremely large, is more efficient and high-quality spaces, as required by world-class companies.

He stressed that RMSG has in its sights the construction of another 10 buildings in the city, both in the Alamar area and in El Florido, Nordika, El Águila, to name a few.

In addition, as a company it also has a presence in other cities such as Monterrey, Ciudad Juárez and El Bajío.

In this regard, Carlos Jaramillo Silva, president of Deitac, highlighted that during 2020 Tijuana was one of the most dynamic cities in the industrial plane, ranking in the top 2 nationwide.

 “More than 60% of the absorption are expansions, that is, we have a fairly active domestic market. They are companies that continue betting on Tijuana and that today offer a development platform like RMSG does with this new industrial park, ”he commented.

“Tijuana was a success story in 2020, we never expected the absorption it had of spaces. By far it has been our best year, even in a pandemic ”, he concluded.
