ProximityParks boosts urban logistics with new industrial park in Guadalajara

ProximityParks, a company dedicated to developing last-mile logistics industrial parks across Mexico, has announced the launch of operations at its first property in Guadalajara.
With this milestone, ProximityParks Guadalajara Centro strengthens the company’s investment strategy in high impact locations near millions of consumers, aiming to streamline product distribution and meet the growing demand for urban logistics.
This new facility, representing an investment of over 275 million pesos, expands the company’s portfolio while reinforcing its commitment to sustainable growth and regional economic development. It stands as the only state-of-the-art, sustainability-focused industrial park dedicated to last-mile logistics in central Guadalajara.
Featuring 18,000 square meters of operational space, ProximityParks Guadalajara Centro was designed to optimize last-mile logistics and distribution processes by reducing travel distances and improving delivery routes. Its proximity to high-consumption areas in the Guadalajara metropolitan zone will allow logistics and e-commerce companies to lower operational costs, speed up deliveries, and meet same-day delivery promises.

Notably, the launch of ProximityParks Guadalajara Centro will bring Mercado Libre closer to millions of consumers in the city. It is estimated that, within the first three months, the facility will facilitate the delivery of over 1.5 million packages, generating an economic impact of more than one billion pesos.

He added that this new site joins more than 100 logistics nodes dedicated to e-commerce that Mercado Libre operates throughout Mexico.
