Polymerals starts operations at its Torreón plant and will generate 175 new jobs

Polymerals is a company originally from India and is dedicated to the processing of guar gum seed , which is used in industries such as food, oil, among others. Its main characteristic is that it thrives in places with high temperatures.
In this sense, Mario Villarreal de la Peña, director of the company in Mexico, led the inauguration of its plant in Torreón, Coahuila, just 10 months after they announced their arrival in the Laguna Region.
He commented that with this investment of 400 million pesos, 175 new jobs will be created directly, in addition to 1,000 jobs indirectly.
"It is an honor for us to bring to La Laguna the first and only plant of this type in the American continent, we do it with the purpose of shortening the distance between our main production centers such as India and Pakistan to serve the markets of United States and Europe ”, expressed the manager.
INVESTMENTS ARRIVE TO COAHUILA
Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, governor of Coahuila, thanked Polymerals for their trust, which represents the 33rd project that has been developed in the Lagunera region during his administration, a record figure for this area of the state.
He stressed that one of the purposes of his management is to promote the economic development of all regions of the entity, so he will continue to face the challenge of promoting the state in countries such as China, Japan and Canada , the three main nations that have invested in the region in the last two years.
“The start of operations of this company today is good news, confidence is a factor that has us ahead in the indicators. Whoever has bet on our land knows that it will go well for them ”, he concluded.
