Nuevo Leon to promote business with the Basque Country

The ministry of
Economic Development and Infrastructure from the Basque Country, Arantxa Tapia
held a pact with the Ministry of Economy and Labor in Nuevo Leon with the
objective of developing a joint agenda that works as an encouragement for
business and future investment projects in sectors such as the automotive,
aerospace, of energy, bio health and food.
While having a
tour by the Nuevo Leon Pavilion at the Hannover Fair, Germany; the ministry
Arantxa Tapia, recognized that both nations have an industrial ecosystem based
in manufacture, the clusters and science, because interest are similar, and
currently as the state of Nuevo Leon the Basque Country develops a strategy
based in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
“We would like
to go deeper in the collaboration between us and Nuevo Leon and try to find
union nexus in economic sectors that allow us to grow. With the possibilities of achieving a joint
venture, as well as of crossing investments,” the ministry assured.
“We will be working to place the detailed points in a formal document and define the concrete areas to work in commercial missions inside Nuevo Leon and them at the Basque Country,” said Tapia.
Meanwhile the secretary of State Economy,
Fernando Turner noted that the pact is a good opportunity to encourage work in
specific sectors, mainly in the area based in Industry 4.0.
