Nissen inaugurates its plant in Sendai Park

The company Nissen Chemitec Mexico formally opened its facilities in the Sendai industrial park, located in Valle de Santiago, for which it made a total investment of 18 million dollars and generated 42 direct jobs in a first stage.

 

In this regard, Kazuya Higashi, general director of Nissen Chemitec Mexico, explained that this company of Japanese origin is dedicated to the injection of plastic and assemblies for the automotive industry.

 

He announced that since November 2017 they started production with the assembly process and in 2018 added the injection process, in order to give greater added value to the requirements of their customers.

 

"Talking about the business environment that surrounds Mexico in the midst of a globalized society is important and, therefore, we are in a dynamic stage, it is necessary to be attentive to economic changes in order to prevail from now on," he said. .

 

Meanwhile, Yazuyuki Sonobe, president and CEO of Nissen Chemitec, mentioned that Guanajuato has a diversified economy in productive chains and the presence of automotive industries of Japanese origin, which provides a business platform based on competitive advantages.

 

"This was our main reason and the main attraction for investing in Guanajuato, given its proximity to plants such as Honda, which is our main client."

 

The company counts as clients such as Honda of Mexico, Howa of Mexico, Mazda and Nissan; In addition, it plans to expand its client base in the near future.

 

He explained that globally the company makes injection of plastic parts and sub-assembly for the automotive industry, marketing of electronic products, production of synthetic resin, household appliances, beach coolers, compression bags and rugs.

 

The president explained that in this plant injection of plastic parts and sub-assembly will take place.

 

"Our goal is to be a company that contributes to improving the quality of life through chemical engineering that deploys the advanced application of technical capabilities and shapes the needs of the times," he said.

 

Nissen Chemitec has a direct presence in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, the United States, Singapore and Mexico; In addition, it has technical collaboration from India, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

 

Nissen Chemitec Mexico is installed on an area of ​​51,925 m2 and has a constructed area of ​​28,282 m2.

 

It has equipment such as plastic injection machines of 450 tons (t), 850 t, 1300 t and seek to introduce in the future machines from 220 t to 2500 t.
