Kavak will invest 8,000 million pesos and announces new general director for Mexico

Kavak announced Alejandro Guerra as the new general director of Kavak Mexico , who will continue the revolution in the automotive sector, through the economic boost and formalization of the industry at the national level.
The leading company in the market for the sale of pre-owned cars in Latin America , will adapt its business plan to boost the Mexican economy with an investment of more than 8,000 million pesos , during the second half of 2021, with which the vehicle reconditioning capacity of the company to 40,000 units per semester , in addition to an initial generation of 500 jobs during this period .
Carlos García Ottati, CEO of Kavak, stated that since Alejandro Guerra is part of the company, he understood its vision, so it is not only limited in the generation of buying and selling of vehicles, but also in being able to strengthen citizens, through access to vehicles and greater financial inclusion.
"For these reasons we decided to place all our confidence that it will fulfill the mission of consolidating the automotive revolution in the Mexican market," he said.
These actions will reinforce the economic movement of the national automotive sector , by increasing the rotation of the vehicle fleet, which will support various industries by increasing the demand for inputs, infrastructure, raw materials and human working capital, for the execution of purchase, sale, reconditioning and financing of pre-owned cars in the country.
With this operational boost, the new CEO will lead the formalization of the pre-owned car market , by improving the demand for buying and selling units at competitive prices, based on artificial intelligence algorithms, and processes that have managed to eradicate crimes such as fraud, theft and kidnapping, by eliminating dealing with third parties, and guaranteeing fully reconditioned cars with a guarantee in case of any eventuality.
Alejandro Guerra Escamez, General Director of Kavak Mexico, said that the country is beginning a stage of economic recovery and they want to join this objective, so they are making this investment to generate employment and promote the formalization of the market.
"With safe processes for users when buying and selling a car, with more financing options, so that everyone has access to a car without fear of compromising their pockets or their safety," he said.

Alejandro Guerra was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from Stanford University . Before joining Kavak , he served as general manager of Almicon , for almost seven years, to later join the first Mexican unicorn in January 2021, as regional manager for the Northern Zone of Mexico and later occupy the general direction in June of this year .
