JIT Services, an international logistics company,
opened a new warehouse in Jalisco, Mexico; which measures 1,800 square meters
and has a space of 2,000 racks positions, what makes it unique in the State.
The opening of the warehouse was held on November
23rd at the Bugambilias Business Park, in Tlajomulco de Zuniga,
Jalisco at an event led by the general manager, Richard Kimche Abarca.
From here, the logistics company will serve 24
hours a day, seven days a week, and will provide monitoring and security to the
entire merchandise.
“We are happy for this growth, before we had
about 4,500 square meters, this new warehouse is of 1,800 square meters, what
will allow us continue growing and reach new customers,” said the manager.
He added that they have enough spaces for new
projects: “we have about 2,000 racks positions available.”
Kimche Abarca said that this new space provides
added value to customers, as each product is supported and, in addition, they
provide safety with chambers and guards, among others.
“The entire merchandise inside the warehouse is
insured, we have security guards in the entrances and alarm and camera
services, then it is monitored 24 hours.
Customers can feel confident in their merchandise being safe,” he
explained.
JIT Services has as an objective for 2019 to
continue growing and conquering new markets.
“We will continue expanding, we have projects
where we are hoping leasing anther warehouse here in Guadalajara and also in
other cities, we will be seeking to open in Queretaro maybe,” he said.
For Richard its main strength is customized
service and having satisfied multinational companies among its customers.
“Our stronger current customer is Continental, we
ship for them about eight times per day, to its two plants, then we can cover
all hours,” he said.
The chief of materials supply of Continental
plant La Tijera, supported the work of JIT Services, which has already 10 years
of experience in the Metropolitan area of Guadalajara and 25 years consolidated
in general on its warehouses in the United States.
“We seek the support from JIT Services to have a
better service just in time for the management of raw material, of our
suppliers, using the BMA model, that allow us having material in reasonable
times, quicker, that we can increase, our inventory turns, because we can
implement the round trip modality, where they (JIT) can deliver up to 6 times
or more per day,” he ended.
