Industrial growth continues in Tlaxcala

The Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeco) announced that in the last three years Tlaxcala has added investments for more than 1,300 million dollars from national and foreign companies, which decided to settle, expand or consolidate their businesses in the entity and of this way to generate more formal jobs for the benefit of the Tlaxcalan.

He also noted that during 2019 companies such as Mexico Sonavox Electronics, Color Link Mexico, Bancor Assemblies and the “Magdalena II” Park of the Italian company Enel Green Power were inaugurated, to which Amatech joined the expansion of its facilities, the which in total created 2,310 sources of work.

They decided to install 32 companies of which 28 are new investments and four extensions, in total they represent the generation of 3,554 direct jobs, these firms belong to sectors such as commerce and services, automotive industry, food and beverages, construction products, paper industry and metalworking.

In this regard, Sedeco explained that among the new investments, the opening of 15 stores known as OXXO, three 3B stores, an AutoZone, the Walmart Super Center – Tlaxcala Stadium, the Elektra Ocotlán branch, the Aquara Kids Swimming School, stands out. a Veana Store, Tony Tacos and a Cinépolis.

In addition, the BM Industries of Mexico companies of Italian origin, Stone Cer with capital of Mexico, the United States and Italy, and Blue Tissue, a Mexican company, are in the process of being installed.

While, among the industries that will expand its facilities, DXN Mexico from Malaysia, Greenbrier Industries from the United States, Owens Corning and Praxair, with capital from France and the United States, as well as Metallic Applications from Apizaco de México stand out.
