Holiday Inn and Suites to invest 250 million pesos in Aguascalientes, generating 850 new jobs

Aguascalientes industrial growth goes
together with services for business tourism, which is why the hotel Holiday Inn
and Suites, located strategically across Nissan A1 plant to serve people
traveling to the entity who have as an objective visiting the assemblers due to
supply issues.
During the opening ceremony, Federico
Bernardo de Quiros, president of Grupo Gigante, explained that this project
represented an investment in the entity of 250 million pesos, capital addressed
by Grupo Presidente, therefore it will be benefiting the people of
Aguascalientes greatly, since the generation of 850 new jobs is planned, 100 of
them are direct and 750 are indirectly generated contributing to families life
quality.
The State of Aguascalientes has the ideal
conditions regarding infrastructure, workforce, services, among others, same
that characterize them as an ideal place for investors to decide settling their
business in Aguascalientes, thus the Government has been working in recent
years to improve subjects such as education, security, social peace and
relation among workers; this is how the entire Bajio area is working on a
regional project with similar characteristics to continue being competitive
States.
For
Holiday Inn and Suites it is a big step arriving in the entity, since it is the
first investment done in Aguascalientes territory, they decided to settle in
the city because during 2018 this was the fourth state that had the best
conditions of competitiveness, third in job generation, therefore this has been
reflected on its growth on the automotive, tourism, textile, among other
sectors.
Grupo Presidente is a 100 % Mexican company with more
than 50 years of experience they have always been present on national touristic
industry, they have always trusted Mexico and its people.
On the other hand tourism is one of the pillars of the
economic activity of Mexico, represented by 8.8 % of the Gross Domestic Product
(GDP,) and employs 3.7 billion people, as it is also leader in employment for
young people and second in women employment.
