Grupo PiSA and the Government of Jalisco open new Design Center in Ciudad Creativa Digital

The largest Jalisco pharmaceutical company, Grupo PiSA, together with authorities from the government of Jalisco, opened the Center for Design and Software Development in Ciudad Creativa Digital (CCD,) located in downtown Guadalajara.
This work unit will be located on a space of more than 800 square meters of Torre A of CCD, where about 140 professionals will be working without a floating population of advisors, to serve CAB Logistics, subsidiary of the largest Jalisco pharmaceutical company.
This area will be in charge of the storage and distribution of products from all Grupo PiSA companies, as well as of other pharmaceutical and laboratory firms.
Likewise, in the mezzanine of Torre A, is the Center for Innovation in Internet of Things, created with the support of the Mixed Fund CONACyT-Government of the State of Jalisco and is operated in consortium by the Instituto Tecnologico “Jose Mario Molina Pasquel y Henriquez” campus Zapopan; the Tecnologico de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara; and Cinvestav Universidad Guadalajara.
The CCD director, Antonio Salazar Gomez, explained that this year will be channeled 38 million pesos and next year another 50 million pesos.
“Those are investments from previous administrations of about 500 million pesos, however, they did not leave everything ready. This year 38 million additional will be invested to adapt it and an additional 50 million will be budgeted in 2020,” he said.
Salazar Gomez added that after seven months of creating the first agency for the Development of Creative and Digital Industries in the country, it is providing results and the complex started its consolidation stage as an attraction talent project, of investment and social and economic renewal for the Historic Downtown Guadalajara.

of 16 production plants located in the entire country where more than 20,000
employees work, being one of the largest Mexican companies in the
pharmaceutical industry.
