Grupo JIBE Invests More Than MXN 300 Million in New Coahuila Industrial Park

The Laguna region strengthened its infrastructure for attracting investment with the inauguration of Penta Industrial Park Laguna, a new industrial real estate complex developed by Grupo JIBE in Torreón, representing an investment of more than MXN 300 million. The project will expand the availability of industrial space for domestic and international companies seeking to establish operations in one of northern Mexico’s most dynamic industrial regions.

Penta Industrial Park Laguna Expands Coahuila’s Capacity to Attract New Investment

During the industrial park’s opening ceremony, Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas emphasized that the launch of this development reflects the private sector’s confidence in continuing to invest in Coahuila. He noted that the state maintains favorable conditions for business growth thanks to coordination among government authorities, the private sector, and civil society, while also providing legal certainty, labor stability, infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and security.

Security and Legal Certainty Drive Private Investment

The governor stated that, despite the international economic slowdown recorded in recent months, Coahuila has managed to preserve a competitive investment environment through collaboration among the different sectors. He added that the state’s security model is one of the main factors strengthening investor confidence and helping consolidate the state as an attractive destination for new industrial projects.

For his part, Torreón Mayor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís said the arrival of this new industrial park confirms the period of economic stability currently experienced by the state. He indicated that institutional coordination has strengthened Coahuila’s competitiveness, attracted new investment, and consolidated a favorable environment for business development and the expansion of productive activity.

The administrative director of Grupo JIBE, Diego Jiménez Berumen, stated that Penta Industrial Park Laguna represents a long-term commitment to the economic growth of Torreón, the Laguna region, and Coahuila. He explained that the project seeks to provide infrastructure for companies that choose the region as a platform to develop their operations and expand their investments.
