German company invests 400 million dollars in SLP

Grupo Fischer was created in 1969 in Seebach, Germany. Due to its quality politics it has achieved to become an important world supplier of pipes and stainless steel components and special alloys.
Given the growth of the Industry in Mexico, the company decided to settle its second plant in the country, choosing San Luis Potosi for being a strategic point.
Fischer Mexicana Stainless Steel Tubing S.A. DE C.V., invested 400 million pesos on its new facilities, located in the Industrial Zone. Currently its workforce is of 290 collaborators, 70 more positions will be offered, until reaching 200 new direct jobs.
Tubes and stainless Steel components of the company are used in sectors and applications: the automobile industry, chemical industry, home appliances technology, aeronautics and astronautics, machinery and devices building, furniture industry, consumer electronics, among others.
At stainless steel components and pipes level, it offers a complete range: practically all materials, forms, wall and diameter thickness, as well as multiple transformation manners, even with complex constructive forms.
The company is located in Germany, Canada, South
Africa, Mexico, Australia, China and Uruguay; it has 20 international
subsidiary societies and a total workforce of more than 1,910 employees.
