France is the sixth country with more investment in SLP

In the last years,
France has been betting on the development of San Luis Potosi by investing more
than 875 million dollars through the settling of Valeo plants, becoming the
second employer company in the State.
Whence, Anne Grillo,
France ambassador in Mexico, gathered in the entity with Cristian Pennec, National Director of Finance and Financial Comptroller
of Valeo;
Emmanuel Lassalle, Regional director for North America division Wipers; and
Jose Luis Garza, honorary consul of France in San Luis Potosi to open the new
Corporate Building of Global Services of Valeo Wipers & Valeo Shared
Services.
Christian Pennec explained that this space will concentrate
the directive and administrative areas of the company, in which will be
directed the internal controls of the remaining plants in the country, being
the second largest worldwide inside the corporate. In addition, the edification was focused in
encouraging sustainability, since they have eliminated the use of paper and
they have forefront technology.
The French representative, indicated that there is a
solid linkage with the Centro Potosino de Ciencia y Tecnologia given the
cooperation that strengths the exchange in research, data and artificial
intelligence; as well as in the assessment of the environmental impact and the
impact in arid areas.
“The Valeo investment perfectly translates the
confidence in development and potential of San Luis Potosi; as it is located as
the second company with more personnel in the State employing more than 5
thousand workers,” said the French diplomat.
In the event, Juan Manuel Carreras, governor of the State, said that as entity
Valeo’s values are supported inside their organization, same that are promoted
every day in the governmental endeavor: ethics, transparency, empowerment,
professionalism and teamwork.
Meanwhile, Jerome Jumel, general manager of Valeo
Windshield Systems and Compressors, thanked the actions being encouraged from
the State Government in order for this kind of projects can expand their plants
and increase their team of collaborators, under conditions that facilitate the
investments.
Finally, Alberto Villalpando, national director of
human resources for Mexico from Valeo, detailed that the company’s expansion
plans are to increase their collaborators platform to go from 5,500 to 6,500 figures
that can reach 7 thousand employees in the next three years.
