FITMA contributes to the economic reactivation of Mexico and Latin America

The International Technology and Manufacturing Fair (FITMA) will be the most important meeting of the technology and manufacturing industry in Mexico and Latin America that will present the latest trends in the metalworking sector. 

After months without industrial events in Mexico, due to the pandemic, FITMA is the Latin American machine tool and manufacturing event that the market expects to reactivate the industry. 

On Tuesday, January 11, the FITMA round table was held ; The panel  was made up of directors and executives from the industry.

Carlos Mortera, director for Latin America of the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), mentioned that "the transformation industry in the manufacturing sector is a generator of economic benefits." 

FITMA promotes this transformation; It is a high-level fair where entrepreneurs can expand their client portfolios, generate, strengthen and make more relationships. It will take place from January 18 to 20 in Mexico City .

Luis Lizcano, executive president of the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (Femia), commented that “it is important to be able to see the products and solutions; being able to live in person the new trends and technologies that allow us to be more competitive”. 

For his part, Luciano Diorio, CEO of Grupo Hi-Tec, said that “we are very happy and proud to be able to participate in a face-to-face event. FITMA showcases and links around new technologies in real time, which will be extraordinary for attendees. Our company has created an automation area to take advantage of data and offer our clients accessible packages for organizations of different sizes. Our challenge is to be more productive”.

Muganes Musharrafie, sales and marketing manager at CimCo, mentioned that the Manufacturing 4.0 industry is advancing and has been able to help the sector during the pandemic. Therefore, companies can be inspired by FITMA to speed up their automation processes. Bringing technology and manufacturing together is very necessary.”
