Easyway Products Corporation announces investment in Coahuila

Easyway Products Corporation
will start operations in Coahuila, for that it will invest 6 million dollars
and will generate 2,500 jobs in the entity.
Easyway Products
Corporation, a leading company in premium accessories manufacturing for
furniture, will be located in the southern-center of Torreon.
Headquartered in
Cincinnati, Ohio; Easyway Products Corporation has an extensive network of
partners in international manufacturing to satisfy its customers’ demands.
Besides, it highlights its Avant-grade management of the supply chain that will
help them provide an added value to customers, investors and costs savings.
Jon D. Randman,
president of Easyway Products Corporation, thanked Miguel Riquelme, governor of
Coahuila, to municipal authorities and the businessmen for receiving them in
the state.
Regarding this, he said
that when they started the process to see in which city Mexico could expand,
“we choose the one that was safe, had integrity and strong corporate
responsibility.”
He referred that since
the beginning they found that Coahuila and La Laguna share those values,
therefore they committed to invest their financial capital in that city to
create a workforce of 2,500 new jobs, building it as their operation grows.
Miguel Angel Riquelme
Solis, governor of Coahuila, recognized that the investment of this company
continues consolidating the state was an attractive place for the arrival of
companies.
Also, he noted that
Easyway Products Corporation found in Torreon a place with first-class
indicators regarding education with a qualified and competitive workforce.
“There are
universities, hospitals, an airport and its people inspired this organization
to choose this land,” he said.
La Laguna – he
underlined – emerges as one of the main investment poles in Coahuila.
He thanked the presence
of Easyway Products Corporation officials, businessmen, public officials and
representatives of business chambers.
Meanwhile, Fernando Menendez Cuellar, president of the Employers Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX, by its Spanish initials) in La Laguna, said that the wellness of land lays in its people’s spirit.
Finally, Francisco
Jaime Acosta, director of Economic Development and Government Innovation of the
Municipality of Torreon, held that the investment attraction strategy was
strengthened by joining efforts with the State Government and businessmen. “At
the beginning, we settled the challenge of attracting investments, strengthen
the private sector in alliance with the State Government, with universities to
have a qualified workforce. I can only tell you investors: Welcome to Torreon!”
