CFMOTO breaks ground on inaugural ATV Assembly Plant in Mexico

Millionaire Chinese investment in Nuevo León
CFMOTO
inaugurated its first plant in Mexico, which had an investment of 46 million dollars and will be
generating more than 500 jobs.
The
Chinese company decided to set up its factory in Apodaca, Nuevo León , which has 75,000 square meters
of land and plans to manufacture 100,000 all-terrain vehicles per year.
CFMOTO
is a company that specializes in manufacturing ATVs, motorcycles, engines and
accessories. Globally, it has a presence in Asia, Europe and North America and
has more than 5,000 employees.
Premium global powersports brand

Lai, CEO of CFMOTO, said that the installation of this plant in Mexico
represents a cornerstone of their vision to become a premium global motorsports
brand.
“Production from this factory will help CFMOTO
significantly reduce its costs, giving it a greater advantage in market
competition and better serving our global customers. We will continue to work
with local partners to explore the global market and promote a higher level of
development,” he said.
Automotive sector, leader in investment projects
Iván
Rivas, head of the Nuevo León Ministry
of Economy , said that, from October 2021 to date, 148 investment projects have
been confirmed, representing 21,559 million dollars and the creation of 92,058
new jobs.
