Asian businessmen are interested in investing in Matamoros

Asian Businessmen were interested in investing in Matamoros, due to they see this city as the main economic pole in Tamaulipas.

With an investment of 25 million dollars and the generation of one hundred new specialized jobs, Korean businessmen from the energy sector, specifically dedicated to the manufacture of towers and wind power generators, they are interested in Matamoros.

It will be a short term period when businessmen decide the installation of their company in the location, after considering the goodness and facilities it offers, thus was announced by Arturo Gomez Ibarra, secretary of Economic and Employment Promotion in the city.

“Since last month Korean businessmen, visited the city and as other foreign investors they had the presentation of the different parks and they were interested in coming,” Ibarra said.

There are two companies from Korea that want to be in charge of the construction from blades of wind fans build in this region, said Arturo Gomez Ibarra.

The secretary of Economic Promotion said that not only companies are seeking to create the aforementioned product, but also the towers, which if materialized there will be very important economic revenue for Matamoros.

He said that the two companies are from Korea, and they have showed that interest in arriving to this border and generate part of the pieces required for wind power generation.

Currently, not only American investors are interested in Matamoros, but also China and Korea are turning to see the city as a viable option for Asian investment.
