Airport Industrial Park, a millionaire self-sufficient ecological project

After having started the construction of the Airport Industrial Park on July last year, with an investment of more than 100 million dollars, the firm AM Developers announced that the last phase of the project is expected to be ended by the end of this year.

Alberto Mirage, general director of the Airport Industrial Park said: “We have the only park of this kind; its infrastructure is 98 % ready, and regarding occupation, today they add 8 companies observed in this project, among which we have companies from Spain, Canada and the US, of which four are already established, regarding the rest it is expected that they can start their production in the next two months; such industries belong to the agro-industrial sector, automotive and aerospace mainly.”

It is important to underline that the construction of the complex is focused in sustainability, through the implementation of modern systems that allow water and energy savings; as part of its facilities the park has a private water treatment plant as part of a system through which rainwater is collected, renewing it and reusing it allowing to supply the demand of the industries already installed; in addition the lighting is based on led technology generating low consumption in the service.

“We just finished a very large plant of 50 thousand meters, which is already available; likewise we have four more plants in construction.  The PIA is a self-sufficient ecologic park in many senses, in cleaning, as well as in natural water generation, we have different important projects through which is sought to reuse energies, as well as saving them becoming a first level park,” said Alberto Mirage.

To end, Mirage said: “The companies already confirmed are acquiring 35 % of the park, leaving a 60 % of the land, from which 50 % is already sold, therefore only 30 % will remain available for sale.”
