Aeromar “lands” in Saltillo to strengthen the economic development

With a daily flight from Monday to Friday, Mexico-Saltillo-Mexico, Transportes Aeromar S.A. de C.V. (Aeromar,) starts operations in the Southeast Region of Coahuila this December 3rd, in their return to the capital of Coahuila.

During a press conference celebrated in the facilities of Plan de Guadalupe International Airport in Ramos Arizpe, Danilo Correa, CEO of Aeromar, announced that transportation from Mexico City to Saltillo will be on a schedule of 14:10 – 16:29 hours, and from Saltillo to Mexico City from 16:45 to 18:50 hours, Monday to Friday.

“Coahuila has stood out for being highly productive, one of the greatest economic development axes in Mexico, with their automotive axis, with the entire industry,” he said.

“But also on the field, agriculture and other sectors that highlight you and that take you to a leadership position, and we are proud to collaborate as a more strategic alliance in this economic growth process.”

The second frequency is being also analyzed for the Southeast Region, as well as being able to seek other destinations from Saltillo for business trips, operations, and tourism.

Correa said that 72 to 42 positions per flight will be used, with a turboprop ATR an aircrafts’ fleet, one of the most used in Europe and Asia, and fulfilled with French-Italian technology, one of the most modern fleets in the aviation industry, which for 32 years has provided more safety.

He noted that for April 2020 will be opened a schedule of Saturday to Sunday, and a second flight frequency could be opened by the middle of next year. Also, in the upcoming weeks, Aeromar will promote its services in the location to all productive sectors, among them the industry prevailing in the region, as well as to the population in general.

With a special tariff offer of 1,799 pesos per simple flight and 2,799 round flight, the sale of the tickets started last November 1st and on December 3rd will start operations from Monday to Friday.
