In
order to continue working in the economic promotion of the region, and aiming
to attract more investments to the SLP entity, work has been done in the
improvement of the city mobility to create new terrestrial communication
networks.
Therefore
the Federal and State Government is developing infrastructure projects that
promote the entity’s growth.
During
his visit to the entity, Jimenex Espiru, head of the Ministry of Communication
and Transportation (SCT, by its Spanish initials) opened the Logistik
Distributor Road, which had an investment of 140.4 million pesos.
“The
attraction of investments to the SLP entity generates job sources, resulting
from the inter-agency encouragement to improve mobility, an example of that is
the delivery of this work which provides great connectivity solutions,” said
Javier Jimenez Espriu.
Meanwhile,
Juan Manuel Carreras Lopez, governor of the State, said that the Metropolitan
Area of San Luis Potosi has a very important economic boom, due to national and
foreign investment resulting from the confidence and stability conditions which
generate job sources for the wellbeing of families.
“These
growth conditions generate important challenges to be faced, such as the update
of industrial parks accesses,” he added.
The
project consisted in the construction of a 1.1 kilometers long bridge, with an
asphalt concrete based paving, drainage, induced works, signage, lighting
including structure and accesses.
Finally,
Cedric Ivan Escalante Sauri, undersecretary of Infrastructure from SCT, said
that this work is part of the comprehensive project “Bulevar San Luis,”
consolidated as part of the fundamental infrastructure to improve mobility and
651 million pesos have been invested on this project since 2011.
