XCMG to Establish $80 Million Second Plant in Nuevo León

XCMG, a renowned Chinese group specializing in heavy machinery manufacturing and construction equipment, has announced the launch of its second plant in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, with an investment of $80 million.
Gilberto Aguilar, Sales Manager of XCMG, highlighted the company's decision to invest in Nuevo León due to the availability of suppliers and its proximity to the United States. This strategic location has facilitated XCMG's expansion plans and underscores its commitment to the region's economic growth.
The new facility, spanning 40,000 square meters, is poised to generate 300 new jobs in its inaugural year, with future plans to increase employment opportunities to 500. The announcement was made during XCMG's first annual meeting, signaling the company's dedication to expanding its footprint in Mexico.
XCMG's advanced production technologies, employed in its fully automated plants in China, will also be integrated into the new facility in Ciénega de Flores. This ensures efficiency, quality, and innovation in the manufacturing process, aligning with XCMG's global standards.
In Ciénega de Flores, the plant will focus on producing articulated machines, manipulators, telescopic equipment, and other related products. This expansion reflects XCMG's commitment to meeting the growing demand for heavy machinery and construction equipment in Mexico.
