The industrial building located at 360 Industrial Park, will have an

Teksid, Tupy, Technocast, Nemak, ASF-K, among others.
During the project presentation were present Patrick Andre, CEO of

and he explained that this investment shows the great commitment Vesuvius has
with the Mexican economy.
“We are confident in that we will reach our objectives thanks to our
technical capabilities and knowledge of the market, but mainly, thanks to our employees,”
said Patrick Andre during his speech.
He said that after an extensive study with internal and external
experts, the competitive advantages that convinced Vesuvius to settle Foseco
plant in the Southeast Region of Coahuila were factors such as strategic
location, which provides them proximity to their main customers, as well as
highly qualified workforce availability.
“Vesuvius, through their brand Foseco, is a leader in supply for foundry
industry, and this year we are celebrating our 60 anniversary in
Mexico. Our mission is to continue growing above market expectations and
Mexico is and will continue to be fundamental in our progress,” said the CEO of
Vesuvius.
Meanwhile, the vice-president of Vesuvius for Mexico, the United States,
and Canada recognized the work of 360 Industrial Park, developers of the
industrial building, which he described as a quick and efficient project.
“For 10 years we had the idea of establishing a plant in the northern
part of the country. When Patrick was appointed CEO, this was one of the
projects we saw,” said Gary Wilson.
Miguel Angel Riquelme, state official, wished Foseco's success and told
Vesuvius directives to be certain that in Coahuila development and productivity
will be preserved.
“We like to welcome you to Coahuila, you are arriving in a competitive
state, with great factors and indicators that contribute to the country, to
Mexico’s northeast region, and we are also leaders in many things,” he noted.
The governor also said that the new investment represents not only job
generation, but the impulse to a suppliers’ chain that keeps dynamism in state
economy.
He underlined the balance with which work is done in the entity, labor
stability it has, as well as the qualified workforce that exists, produces and
gives positive results.
“The great supply chain existing throughout Coahuila is at their service
and disposition, the best brands, a great quality in our products, is what
today places the entity in the eyes of the world,” he explains.
While Jorge Del Bosque, partner and directive of 360 Industrial Park,
said that Foseco is the fourth company settled in the park, which has three
years operating in the Southeast Region of Coahuila.
“We anticipate the beginning of a successful stage for Foseco, we are
expecting that within two more years it grows and expands its operations,” he
noted.
Regarding the industrial park, explained that they have a privileged
location, as well as the infrastructure, which has to consolidate 360
Industrial Park.
BRITISH QUALITY BY EXCELLENCE
Foseco is the foundry division of Grupo Vesuvius, which established in
Birmingham, United Kingdom and is considered world leader in consumable
products supply, services, and solutions for the metalworking
industry. Founded in 1932 by Eric Weiss and Kossy Strauss, who created
Foundry Services Ltd, company that years later will become Foseco.
Its mission is to provide products and services that actually will
support the foundry industry. They began with six fluxes products that
they iteratively improved as they learned more about their customers.
During the second half of the XX century and at the beginning of 2000,
Foseco was a pioneer of new technology generations that will transform their
sector. During the entire time, the American company Vesuvius grew
exponentially as they establish offices and factories abroad, by acquiring
Foseco in 2008, among other companies that expanded their offer and presence
around the world.
Foseco products reduce work and intensive machining in the workforce,
minimizing the requirements for metal use, they affect the process of metal
solidification and automatize molding and foundry, reducing thus the cost,
energy use, and mold size.
Today, with 17 research centers around the world and an annual
investment of 33.2 million pounds in research and development, Vesuvius
continue leading innovation in the foundry industry.
