VAZ Industrial will invest more than 30 million dollars for the construction of Urban Industrial Park in Guanajuato

Pablo Vázquez Álvarez, CEO of VAZ Industrial , Guanajuato is the state with the most spaces for the industry in the so-called Diamante de México , a geographical area made up of Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro and Morelia. That is why Grupo VAZ chose this region for the construction of its number two park in Mexico, which will be called Urban Industrial Park.
The construction of the Urban Industrial Park in León will add to the already existing parks which, with an investment of 30,542,580 dollars, is estimated to generate more than 530 jobs during the construction stage and more than 1,000 jobs during its operation.
It has a total of 58 industrial lots from 600 square meters to 1,500 square meters and four AAA industrial warehouses of 10,000 square meters, facilitating the logistics and security of the suppliers of the companies that are installed within the park.
Urban Industrial Park will strengthen the position of León, Guanajuato, as one of the cities with the greatest promise of economic development and adding to the more than 20 existing industrial parks.
It should be noted that the main municipalities of Guanajuato that are home to industrial parks are Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Guanajuato, Irapuato, León, San Felipe, San Francisco del Rincón, San José Iturbide, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel Allende, Salamanca, Silao, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago and Villagrán.
The creation of industrial parks is undoubtedly one of the best strategies to increase the economic development of the region, since it is a platform to promote investment and attract national and foreign companies, commented the manager.
Only in Guanajuato, according to the Industrial Cluster, there are more than 6,000 hectares dedicated to productive activities in the state, which has 46 industrial parks distributed in 17 municipalities, which are home to more than 800 companies from more than 20 countries.
